Getting Here and Getting Around
The Lagoon is conveniently located and easily accessible, with ample parking available. Once you arrive, the site is designed to ensure a seamless experience, with clear signage and friendly staff to guide you.
Directions
From I-95 North take Exit 129 State Road 70 to Fort Pierce.
Drive east to Virginia Avenue then turn left on US-1N. Take a slight right turn onto Citrus Avenue and continue over the bridge. At the roundabout, take the second exit South Indian River Drive, curve again to North Indian River Drive. Manatee Center will be on your right.
From I-95 South take Exit 131 State Road 68, Orange Avenue.
Keep left and continue straight on Orange Avenue about 5 miles into downtown Fort Pierce and pass US Highway 1 (do not turn). Proceed to the intersection of North Indian River Drive and turn left. After 0.3 miles Manatee Center is on your left.

Parking
Free parking is available in the paved lot directly in front of the Center, shared with the Seven Gables House and Backus Museum. Please note: the unpaved lot across the street from Seven Gables is no longer public and is now a Tow-Away Zone. Additional free parking is available across from the Museum and at the parking garage two blocks south of the Center. Public parking is managed by the City of Fort Pierce. Learn more.
